Laura Nadia Hunt
Ever since she can remember, music has been the passion of Laura's life. Enjoying singing in a wide range of styles, Laura has sung in many major venues in the United Kingdom including the Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and The Cardiff Millennium Centre, through her work as a soprano in The London Philharmonic Choir. Laura also works as a session singer, most notably as part of a backing group for the Mercury Music prize winning album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' by legendary British band Elbow, recorded at the world renowned Abbey Road Studios with the BBC Concert Orchestra and most recently for Phil Manzanera and Andy McKay of Roxy Music.
Jazz remains Laura's enduring love and with her unique brand of crystalline, sweet, sultry and emotive versions of standards and modern pop with a wry jazz twist, Laura brings her passion to regular performances at private events and London institutions such as The Palladium, Pizza Express live: The Pheasantry, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, The Painted Hall at The Royal Naval College, St Martin In The Fields, Inner Temple, The Dorchester Hotel, One Embankment, The Langham Hotel, One Mayfair, Madame Jojo's and at residencies at Les Ambassadeurs Casino amongst others. Laura made her operatic debut in 2013 in Vladimir Jurowski's production of 'The Threepenny Opera' with The London Philharmonic Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall. Laura also writes and records music for film, advertisements and television.
